Our standard for accurate, practical, and transparent Japan waste guidance. Last reviewed July 17, 2026.
Primary sources first
We prioritize municipality, prefecture, national-government, and official program pages. Commercial sources are used only for clearly attributed product or service details.
No invented universal rule
If a rule varies by ward, address, building, item size, or material, we say so. We do not turn one municipality's rule into a nationwide claim.
Visible review context
Decision-critical guides show official references and, when recently checked, a review date. The official municipality remains the final authority.
Useful, not padded
Pages are written to answer a real disposal decision. We avoid doorway pages, copied municipal text, and pages that differ only by a place name.

Readers can report an outdated rule to contact@gomisense.com. We investigate against the relevant official source and update material errors.
